Indy Camargo is Brazilian-born living in the United States for over 30 years. After having lived in the Bay Area and in Atlanta, GA, he moved to Sacramento and got to know the Brazilian Center, where he volunteered and participated in the activities offered by the Center.
Indy became the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Center until 2011 when he moved back to Brazil, where he stayed for 5 years. Upon returning to Sacramento, Indy again became associated with the Center as a volunteer and later as a Secretary of the Board of Directors.
Now, living in another city, Indy is still a member of the Board of Directors, helping with activities and promotions. Being an IT professional, he has helped with the Center’s web site and with the participation in fundraising events and web sites, like Benevity and the Big Day of Giving. He has a passion for photography and has documented many events for the Brazilian Center.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the College of Economics and Administration of Osasco, Brazil. He is a Software Quality Assurance Analyst for SoftSol Inc., working at State Compensation Insurance Fund.
